Everything here is delicious! Chicken with flavor and texture (so rare nowadays), deli meat that is delectable, smoked wings, everything you could want and new discoveries to make. Friendly staff - especially the lovely lady with adorable earrings 😊 For supporting local and for for exquisite flavors, worth every penny

I have a discerning dog who's taking me on a raw adventure currently. This was the only place in the city that whole organ meat ready for purchase. Typically I try to plan but a 90 lb shep eats a lot. They were incredibly kind as they walked me through my options and answered my questions. I just prepped the heart that I picked up and it was absolutely beautiful. You can tell they care of their cows as much as they take care of their customers. Just wanted to say thank you again!

Disappointing Customer Service from Management Despite Great Products I’ve always considered The Chop Shop a valuable local resource for quality meats. The butchers are knowledgeable, and the selection of fresh, well-prepared cuts has been consistently excellent in my past experiences. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was marred by poor customer service from Rob, the general manager. He handled the pre-pickup order preparation, met us at the counter, and processed the checkout with a noticeably negative and dismissive attitude. In fact, his attitude was noticeable aggressive, for no reason. It felt unprofessional and unwelcoming—especially for a small, community-oriented business where friendly interactions usually make the experience enjoyable. The products themselves were still top-notch, which is why I’ve shopped there before and likely will again. However, this encounter left a bad taste, and I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously to maintain the positive reputation the shop has built with its educated staff and great offerings. To top it off, for an order of $357.52 I was doubled charged, twice. When I called and spoke specifically to Rob, he was unable

This is a true butcher shop. They have a case with seafood. Today they had scallops, shrimp, oysters, and fish. The meat case had beautiful beef. There were the common cuts and some specialty cuts. There were really nice pork cuts. The also have spices, rubs, BBQ, tools, and T shirts. The staff is super. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They will offer cooking tips, and provide special cuts. There are few real butcher shops left, and even fewer like the Chop Shop.

The one stop heavenly shop for omnivores! Products: Fresh and local rotating selection of various fish, chicken, pork, steak, bones to roast for marrow and stock, jerky, turkey, and more. Ps: House made brisket on Fridays (you're welcome!) Quality: Best in town, always fresh and local. It's easy to be a great chef when you're working with great products. Awesome Staff: They cut everything down in house. Very knowledgeable about each piece in the case, including occasional cooking tips. Sustainability: This is THE way to support sustainable animal agriculture! The prices reflect the quality and local availability - its not always easy for small farmers, especially in today's economy. There will always be people that can't/won't be vegan. I have so many food allergies, including to the all too common legumes (soy, peas, beans, etc).
